Introducing ChatBAV: Revolutionizing Business Aviation News
The Knowledge Economy | Leveraging AI for Smarter Decisions
Updated 3 February, 2024
This is the 27th week of Airplane Mode Newsletter - welcome! I am republishing the 17th edition, as there have been a number of requests for ChatGPT and AI information. If I can help you in your business in terms of automations or just optimizing ChatGPT for productivity and creativity - feel free to shoot me a message!
Welcome to the 17th edition of Airplane Mode, our weekly aviation newsletter. To all new subscribers, welcome and thank you for joining our community - tuning out noise, and increasing signal. This week we introduce ChatBAV and include some of the weeks biggest highlights from across business aviation, and the business of aviation. We have a special request to readers at the bottom of this article.
We are living through a new Gutenberg Revolution, and the way to staying ahead and profitable is now about the scaling and application of knowledge, and a renaissance of hospitality and service that goes well beyond the modern standard.
ChatBAV - Business Aviation News
Do you ever just think “why can’t I just get the news that I want, or just get the news extremely quickly, and in summary?” I like to sit down and read the news, browse the pages, pick up a print edition every now and again, and just take my time. Then, there are the other times… Times I have that call or meeting coming up and I realize it’s Tuesday AM and I have no idea what happened at the tail end of last week, and certainly no idea what was announced on Monday, I’ve been running and running - trying to stay wings level, smooth and steady. The news is an after thought sometimes.
Further compounding the problem, outlets like AIN Online, Aviation Week, and others, will send a nicely formatted and highly curated newsletter to my inbox, but it’s just a snippet of the news with a link to the full article - what good is that when I’m in a hurry? Incoming. ChatBAV. Google is dead. Websites are near obsolete. I am being slightly hyperbolic, but that will be accurate long-term.
I built a custom GPT that summarizes the past seven days of business aviation news, analyzes it, and you can ask it questions about anything you like. Ask it “what did Gulfstream announce in the last week that I need to know?” and it’s going to tell you, and on and on with any other relevant question to Business Aviation. It moves outside the seven day time-period only when necessary.
Instead of reading my entire synopsis that may bore you to tears, I made a video that shows exactly how it works, what you can do with it, and how it will improve your life if you rely on the news. Keep in mind, these can be built for any business, any topic, and with any expertise necessary - your business can have it’s own GPT built inside of an hour or two, and it will save you tremendous amounts of time on admin style work, research, and much more.
Below is a link to the app for you to use as well. You will need ChatGPT Premium Subscription, but it is well worth it if you can grasp how many uses it has, and justify for your own use cases. If you need help using, setting up, or creating your own CustomGPT for your specific use, you can shoot me an email and I’d be happy to help (I’m kind of a nerd on the GPT levels and my wife is just a touch annoyed at my ten month fascination now… )
Blueprint for Success
Brought to you by Compounding Quality (@QCompounding), this blueprint is about decision making and the biases surrounding our everyday decisions, as well as the decisions we make that effect us for life. If we can step back, as human beings susceptible to vast biases in our judgement and vision, and detach from the emotional aspects of any given situation, we can employ the tools below to check ourselves and end up profiting much more than we otherwise would have. How? Better decisions made over time, compounding in results (positive or negative) and magnitude (how impactful).
Who does a company hire to be a CEO? Generally someone who has exercised better judgement and decision making skills than their peers, over long periods of time. %10 better judgement as compared to your peers will result in huge differences of outcomes. Disparate outcomes long term.
Alter to an Alien God
At the same time that we present you with tools like ChatBAV and sometimes trumpet the revolution that AI is bringing, in a seemingly positive light, the flip side of the coin is one that can not be ignored. It should be no secret to you dear reader, I am a Christian and believe that Jesus Christ of Nazareth was crucified and died for our sins, and was resurrected so that we may have eternal life with the Father. The implications of such an arrangement ascend beyond merely the physical, and into the metaphysical and quantum levels, there is no doubt. Many of our most renowned scientists also believe there are deep quantum realities, and metaphysical scenarios that are unseen to us but are real all the same. The below video is from Dr. Geordie Rose, the founder of D-Wave, the worlds first quantum computing company. Let me use a quote from the video to capture your attention if I may. Dr. Rose has sold quantum computers to Google, Lockheed Martin, and etc. Need I say more?
"... the shadows of these parallel worlds overlap with ours. And, if we're smart enough, we can dive into into them, and grab their resources, and pull them back into ours to make an effect in our world…. So, if you're standing--you have the opportunity to stand next to one of these machines, it is an awe-inspiring thing, at least for me. It feels like an altar to an alien god. It-- They really are impressive machines."
Ace Update
He’s still got style. He doesn’t want to mess around with any long-haired hippies. Freedom for all people, at home and abroad, including long-haired hippies. Ace doesn’t want war, and he doesn’t want to pay for one either. He has one thing in common with the long-haired folk, war is a last resort.
Research is the advance guard of progress.
