It’s real, it’s raw, it’s from the heart and I just went ahead and pushed publish 😬

I know it would be a lot more convenient and a lot more entertaining to listen and eventually watch - so this is the preface to those days - a high quality audio edition.

I insisted to record this one myself, but my truly lovely wife had some things to say about the quality, with her bachelors degree in audio engineering…

Flight Log: A Year In Review

Firstly, apologies for the link overload below but how can we be expected to give a 2023 year in review of sorts if we don’t link to the best of the best of the best that was included in Airplane Mode? Some of these you shared with me, most were curated from the best around the web, and some we just happened to stumble upon and thought they were gold.

2023 was an epic year for a lot of us and I am actually %100 certain it will get better in 2024 despite any circumstances externally. How do I know that? Because if you’re reading this, and you’re this far into the article, you likely have a growth mindset and cannot be stopped. Come hell or high water (as they say in these parts…), you’re going to win. I know a lot of these resources below can help you do that.

Ace Update

After-hours, Ace stumbles in from a long mission. He’d been skillfully maneuvering an MC-208 Guardian SAP TS flight that no one will ever know about, casually pushing the machine to its limits, all while sharing his covert stash of Alpo Premium with no one, yoke all greasy. As the adrenaline faded and he sauntered off for a well-earned rest, the hangar maintenance crew came in bright eyed and bushy tailed, wondering where the tree branches came from in the gear, saying only “Classic Ace…” No one would ever be there to tell the tales from just another ISR Mission that somehow went as planned, until it didn’t.. Next time, next time.
